Hello Wonderful Patients of Dr. Kaloust,

As the news of COVID-19 is changing daily (sometimes hourly), we wanted to update you on fhe current status of the office and your upcoming appointment. First and foremost, know that the health of our patients and team members is paramount. We always try to strive to exceed industry standards in infection control and office safety. We are monitoring the directives from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, the Center for Disease Control, the State of California, San Mateo County and the American Association of Orthodontics.

Due to Governor Newsom's recent Declaration of a State of Emergency, including the call for all seniors over the age of 65 and residents with chronic conditions to self-isolate at home, the California Dental Association strongly recommends that dentists practicing in California voluntarily suspend nonessential or non-urgent dental care for the next 14 days. Our team will be in the office to take care of emergency patients. However, if you are scheduled for an upcoming appointment through Monday, April 6, 2020 we ask that you not ·come to your appointment. Our team will be contacting you to reschedule.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our part to help "flatten the curve" and keep our patients and staff safe and community healthy.

Stay healthy and happy.

Warmest Regards,

Dr. Scott Kaloust
